What It’s About:

Five guys. One bar. And a whole heap of sexy trouble…

Dante Delgado is arrogant, mysterious… and sexy as hell. He’s also my brother’s best friend, which makes him seriously off-limits — until one of our infuriating fights turns into a steamy make-out session.

Now, all bets are off.

I know he’s trouble, but I can’t stay away. The chemistry between us is burning out of control, but Dante’s hiding something behind that bad boy smile, and his secrets could destroy us both.

Am I heading straight for heartbreak? Or can this troublemaker open his heart for the right woman?

Find out in the sizzling conclusion to the Rascals series!

My Thoughts:

Troublemaker is the final book in author Katie McCoy’s Rascals series.  The series has followed the exploits of the five hotties who own a Chicago neighborhood bar called Rascals.  This final book features Dante and Haley.  Does the kid from the wrong side of the tracks get the socialite princess?

Dante is the strong, silent type, and his involvement in the bar seems to have been primarily monetary—almost a silent partner. Consequently, he has remained very mysterious; he has a bit of a dark vibe to him with inferences to activities that may be not-so legal.  Most of what had previously been divulged about Haley is that she is the kid sister of one of the owners (Emerson).  I loved Ms. McCoy’s elaboration on these two characters.  Dante’s past and Haley’s present make them very interesting characters!

The story is fun, fun, fun!  The plot sails along, and the there is just the right amount of angst provided mainly from Dante and Haley’s self-doubts.  As the two get bolder, each in their own way, their chemistry becomes combustible, but there are many outside factors that make a relationship seem off limits.  Will her judgmental parents or her overprotective brother get in the way? Will Dante be able to stay out of trouble and on the right side of the law?  Will Hayley’s new-found career keep her too busy?  Read Troublemaker to find out!!
