Reputation is book #2 in the Mason Family series featuring notorious Country Music bad boy Coy Mason AKA Kelvin McCoy and Bellamy “Bells” Davenport and I really loved it. Adriana Locke is divine at creating warm and funny family sagas and as ever she is top of her game with her latest. Coy in his own words is a Country Music Sensation who has been enjoying his bad boy reputation but after an unexpected PR stunt that put him in a bad light he’s starting to reconsider his lifestyle.
Bellamy is headstrong and feisty and a perfect foil to Coy’s banter and teasing. The dialogue between them was often hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud to his shenanigans. She was able to hold her own with him and you could feel her pain thinking he had forgotten her and walked away. I loved seeing Coy shed his reputation and acting the man that he truly was inside and earning Bellamy’s trust again. Coy described themselves as both alphas but also as oil and water that were drawn to each other and with that there were plenty of smoldering moments between them as well. Because family is ever present in these novels I will be looking forward to the next one’s adventure.
