About the Book:
The explosive new installment of the Delta Devlin series from bestselling author Matthew Mather
Newly promoted Marshal Devlin must stop a ruthless conspiracy that stretches across the globe—and even across the decades into the future.
Critical components of the Large Hadron Collider, the world’s most powerful supercollider and largest machine ever built, have been stolen, and Delta Devlin is brought in by Interpol to investigate.
At the same time, a dead body appears washed up on the shores of the East River in Delta’s hometown of New York City—one with very similar injuries to those left by the serial killer she caught to start her career.
As events in the present collide in a tangle of secrets and lies, Delta cannot trust anyone—even her family and loved ones—as her own future and past weave together in a mind-bending web that only she can unravel to stop an apocalyptic disaster from unfolding.

Guest Reviewer Sara’s Thoughts:
Out of Time has a very intriguing storyline with an interesting cast of characters, and I enjoyed the European and American settings. A fast and easy read with plenty of action, the promise of international intrigue fell a little short.
Delta Devlin is a plucky and stylish agent who you get to know very well. Her relationships with family and colleagues are intense and sincere, but she struggles with prioritizing her commitments and making decisions which is a little incongruous with her job. In contrast, Jacques and Dr. Breedlove, though main characters, were mysterious and captivating in their less frequent forays into the story.
I would have loved the story to have developed more into the direction hinted at in the beginning but that said, my favorite part was the last few paragraphs of the entire book and wound up being worth the read. Being the third book in the series, I probably missed some key character development and series arc projections that would have enhanced my appreciation of Out of Time. I would recommend this book if you like a fast paced, international spy/love story, but do start from the beginning of the series.
